Dr. Ivan Moldauer, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Moldauer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Florida Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the South Florida District Dental Association, the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an International Honor Dental Organization.

He served as Associate Director of Postgraduate Endodontics and Associate Director of Predoctoral Endodontics at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He has published on the Pathogenesis of Periapical Pathology, Evaluation of Ultrasonics in Endodontics, Evaluation of different methods of Retreatment Techniques and the use of Cone Beam Computed Tomography for the evaluation of the internal morphology of mandibular molars . Currently, he is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Endodontics and Co-Director of the Postgraduate Surgical Endodontics Course at NSU-CDM and served as an endodontic consultant at the Miami Veterans Administration Hospital GPR program.

Dr. Moldauer serves on the scientific advisory board of the Journal of the American Association of Endodontics. He trains Endodontic residents across the world and is a visiting Professor at Universidad Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru, Universidad Garcilaso de la Vega, Lima Peru, Universidad Autonoma de Tlaxcala in Mexico and Universidad Santo Tomas in Colombia, South America.

From 2013 to 2015, Dr. Moldauer directed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Larkin Hospital in South Miami, served as the Chairman of Endodontics and Director of Dental Continuing education at the same institution.

He uses the latest technological advances in endodontics and provides specialized endodontic care including microsurgery, root canal treatment, endodontic retreatment, and treatment of traumatic injuries to the teeth. Twice a year Dr. Moldauer organizes mission trips to provide free dental care to the underserved in Guatemala and Belize.
